We’re the Delaware Trail Elementary School Parent Teacher Support Group (PTSG) — a fun-loving, get-stuff-done crew of parents, teachers, staff, and community members who all have one thing in common: we care about making Delaware Trail the best it can be for our kids!
From planning exciting events to supporting our amazing teachers, we’re here to help make school a place where students shine and smiles are everywhere. Whether you have an hour or a whole weekend, there’s a place for you in the PTSG.

Meeting Dates
The PTSG invites all of the Delaware Trail parents, teachers and staff to attend our meetings. This is an excellent way to stay informed of all the awesome things happening at Delaware Trail and learn more about how you can get involved. Meeting locations may vary so watch our website or our Facebook page for updates. We have two meetings a year, fall and spring.

Board Members
President: Lyndzi Price
Lyndzi and her husband Mike have lived in Brownsburg for 11 years. This year they will have a fourth grader, Madelyn, and a third grader, Jack, at Delaware Trail. Lilly will join her brother and sister at DT as a Kindergartner. Before staying at home with her children, Lyndzi worked as a preschool and elementary teacher. This is Lyndzi's fourth year working with the PTSG and she is looking forward to making this school year a great one.
Co-Vice President: Lisa Persons
Lisa and her family moved to Brownsburg in March 2023. She is mom to three boys who attend DT (10, 9 and5). Before staying at home with her boys, Lisa taught elementary and middle school in the US and overseas. This is her second year serving on PTSG and she looks forward to serving our school community.
Co-Vice President: Katie Dispennett
Katie and her husband, Jon, have resided in Brownsburg for 12 years. Katie has been volunteering at DT for several years and is looking forward to serving as co-vice president this year. Before becoming a mom of 3 boys, she worked as a small animal veterinary technician in Indianapolis. Now she spends her time actively involved with her family, in her community and church. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, gardening, baking and reading.
Secretary: Sara Barker
Sara and her husband, Nate, have lived in Brownsburg since 2015. This year they have a third-grader and a kindergartner at Delaware Trail. Sara works in healthcare facilities management, and enjoys traveling, volunteering and attending Brownsburg sports events with her husband and kids. This is Sara’s third year on the PTSG board and she looks forward to many years ahead with her boys at DT!
Treasurer: Brandy Gronde
Brandy Gronde has lived in Brownsburg since 2016 with her husband, Chris, and their four boys after relocating from the DC area. Her oldest graduated in 2020 and is currently in the United States Navy, she has a 8th grader and 6th grader at East, while her youngest son attends DT in 2nd grade. Brandy and her husband own and operate Gronde Photography in Brownsburg and she enjoys a flexible schedule so she can be involved at school as well as being able to offer her photography skills to the school when needed. She also began working at DT as a part of the SPED team in 2022. She has spent much time volunteering for various events at the school and actively volunteers in the classroom as well as the school library. She loves being a part of such an active school community and looks forward to making the school year great for students, staff, and parents.
What has the PTSG done for Delaware Trail?
- Purchased a Gaga Ball pit and replenished recess supplies
- Aided teachers by providing over $13,000 in needed classroom supplies, teaching aides and educational subscriptions
- Provided $1,500 toward the cost of class field trips
- $1,000 toward the Character Education and Good Behavior Reward programs
- Provided funds for the 5th grade party
- Two $500 scholarships for former Delaware Trail students
- Supplied $1,100 for Field Day (t-shirts for all students and staff, ribbons, trophies, etc.)
- Over $600 in Christmas gifts for classrooms (educational games used for indoor recess)
- $500 to the school’s music department
- $650 toward the Token Tower in the school office
- Entertained students, faculty, and families with exciting events like Family Picnic, Donuts with Grownups and Winter Carnival
- And more!
