There are many ways to be involved with the PTSG. Signing up for the Volunteer Contact list does not obligate you in any way! This puts you on the contact list for our volunteer needs, where we provide details on each event and the time commitment involved. You can sign up to volunteer for each individual event as it suits your schedule and abilities.

We hope you will join us to make this school year amazing!

**Please note, a criminal history background check is required for anyone who volunteers at the school. Your background check must be submitted through the Brownsburg Community School Corporation; any other background check is not accepted. Background checks are at no cost to you. The state has changed the way background checks are performed and they are taking longer to be completed. You will NOT be notified of the result, please check with your school office to confirm that it is complete.  Remember, you will NOT be able to volunteer during school hours or even have lunch with your child without an approved background check on file.**

Arrival, Dismissal, and Lunch Help
During the first few weeks of school, Kindergarten can be overwhelming.  There are many new procedures to remember and a whole new building to figure out.  We provide extra help during arrival, lunch, and dismissal times to make sure the kindergartners are where they need to be and comfortable with the new procedures.  We also offer extra lunch help for 1st and 2nd grade as they get back into the swing of things.
Event Closed for 2025-26 School Year

Photocopies & Workroom Help

Our Workroom volunteers are a HUGE blessing to our teachers. Time and again our teachers express their gratitude for the help they receive with copies!

Each grade level is assigned a specific day and time (morning/afternoon) for workroom. Volunteers work their assigned grade level weekly throughout the school year. We understand this is a BIG commitment, so we maintain a list of backup volunteers for days that you may have a sick kiddo at home or an appointment you need to attend.

Morning shift is anytime between 8:30AM and noon. Afternoon shift is anytime between noon and 3:45PM. Time commitment is approximately 2 hours per week for your workroom shift.

PTSG Meetings – Fall (09.23.25) and Spring (03.03.26)
We would love for you to attend our PTSG meetings, which occur two times during the school year.  At each meeting, we will update you on our budget and share information about upcoming events.  This is a great opportunity to ask questions and stay informed on what is going on at the school.  If you are interested in volunteering for a specific event, this is a great place to get more information.

Meetings take place in the Delaware Trail Cafeteria at 6:30PM. Kids are welcome to attend, and love seeing their friends at the meeting!

Dog Jog -  10.03.26
Dog Jog is our biggest fundraiser of the school year and involves the entire school. Students run laps around the BWMS track to raise money for the PTSG. All funds raised go directly back to supporting our students, teachers, staff and administrators.
